Kiting in New England
I showed up at a beautiful beach on Cape Cod Bay, one kiter on the water. He came right over to me, overjoyed at having a little company. His name is Brian, he normally kites Corpus Christy. He says our water is cleaner. He offered me some food, his wife video taped us. The other beach goers were all hooting and hollering and watching with glee. Kiting in New England is nice because it's intimate, hardly ever crowded, most often the opposite, kiters looking for one another, with onlookers cheering us on. I have rarely experienced it any differently.

You bring good karma to kiting...
We should all follow your example...
Duuuude. Very Jealous as always but very glad you got to rock out.
One of the things I really love about kiting that beach is the crowd. I had one of my most memorable sessions there last summer with one other kiter in the late afternoon with a beach wedding taking place and people cheering. It was just beautiful.
Sorry I missed you today, glad you had a good session. Kited alone with nothing but my GoPro to tell the tale a few miles away. Will see you tomorrow.
Thanks for that Jean. After the tone of things recently, that was nice to read. That is the feeling I have always gotten from folks here, and is why I like this forum.

Thanks a lot KiterMike. Means a lot coming from you. I look forward to a firm handshake next time we share a windy beach. I wonder if we've met before?
I hit the same beach again today, solo this time. A passerby was ever so curious about our sport so I gave him a crash course in kite launching. Life is good when the wind is strong and steady.
