Let me preface all this with a disclaimer *there are a few of these in this post*:

DISCLAIMER 1: No one in this post is actually a demon regardless of how utterly insane they might look because I can's seem to deal with red/white/crazy eyes. I should also apologize for not getting pictures of everyone. Also some pictures didnt come out so if you were there and I didnt get to post a pic of you Im sorry. Finally I cant seem to resize these picture so sorry for the ginormous size.

So Thursday was Laurent's going away bash - held here.  I did a quick check on my phone to figure out how to get there from school. Looked relatively easy....

Which it was....

Until the torrential downpour.

So I figured - okay - let me catch a cab from the train - I mean it's only a few blocks.

Yeah. No. Not even.

My cab ride went something like this:

ME: "Corner Tavern in Back Bay please"

CAbbie: "Huh"

ME: "Corner Tavern in Back Bay please"

CAbbie: "Where's that"

ME: "421 Marlborough and Mass Ave"

CAbbie: "What?"

ME: "421 Marlborough and Mass Ave"

Cabbie: "Where is that?"

ME: "We're on Mass ave now so I'd assume nearby?"

CAbbie: "Oh. Okay."  (We have now been driving for about 2 minutes - randomly I assume. I mean why the hell wouldnt he stay pulled over til we figured this out?)

ME: "Errr so you know where we are going now?"

CAbbie: "Yes, 421 Mass ave."

ME: "No. 421 Marlborough"

CAbbie: "Yes okay."

This is what "Yes okay" means:

The cab driver then tried to tell me I gave him the wrong address. His argument was based on the key point that I told him the address was 421 Marlborough.

Nope. I don't get it either.

Eventually I did make it to the tavern an was greeted by some friendly faces

Soon after the masses appeared!
