What I wouldn't do for P-Bay Session afterwork

Is it me or has Summer almost passed us by with a dismal monsoon season in June and into July. Too much rain. What I would do for a session at P-bay amazes my own standards but that's how desperate I am thinking right now. I remember one year almost 4 out of 7 days I could head over from work, a short drive over the Ft. Point Channel, Summer Street Bridge to Pleasure Bay and find perfect SW winds and flat water with only a few people riding the Bay of poo, moon jellies and flat water bliss. I have had only four sessions there this season, the last not being so great, overcrowded and too much west in the wind pattern. Clearly not enough for a memorable session. I always looked forward for those afternoon thermals that I could glance out of my office window and see the kites in the air at P-Bay from high above the financial district. I would get ansy just thinking about it taking a walk to conference room for a closer look. I really miss those days of riding the flat water watching my water "rooster tail" spray from my board or being able to see my reflection in the glass close to the jetty wall on the tack back to then throwing down a jump in the TD zone and hearing the crowds cheer. Once in a while I'd hear "wow he gets up there for a big guy". That just pushes me further for the next one as I want to go even higher.

I surely miss those days at Pleasure Bay and hope they come back soon.
