Hey guys,

Just moved here from CT! Been kiting for a couple of years. Currently I'm a grad student in the area. Fri morning looks to have a good amount of wind... but its going to be blowing WSW... any places to go around here other than Tiverton RI that you would be able to kite in that direction? If so, I'd be around for a session if people were around?

Hope to meet everyone soon!

Cheers

JohnnyM

Hey JohnnyM... welcome to the

Hey JohnnyM... welcome to the forum and the area!

What's your skill level? and where grad school?

I possibility for WSW is Duxbury, but anything with more W in it is tricky (and gusty!) around here. Dog Beach is the most local... but I would recommend going with at least one person that has kited there before/knows the area... there are obstacles there like rocks, a bad launch, lobster pots, houses, dog shit, and a road that makes iffy. The cape may be a better option in a WSW (and RI isn't far).
