Impact vest

So as winter is approaching and my kite skills advance.. I am looking into protecting myself for cool waters.
I am looking into getting an impact vest for some extra flotation and protection from some hard bails. What you guys think anyone have and feedback/reviews or whatnot?

So last night I picked up my Mystic D30 Impact vest from JohnnyD.. Sizes run small I am 6'2" and 185 and got a XL.
First impressions are that this thing is really well thought out and well built. Seams look bullet proof and they have done extra steps such as gluing ends to make sure of that. The D30 technology is pretty cool and this vest seems to contain 2mm-3mm inserts in the padding of the stuff. Underneath is anyones guess but its cushy.
The fit is tight and is not restrictive at all. I cannot wait to rock it at the beach and will be a great insulation layer to either my new 3/2 wetsuit and or in the summer months where nothing will be worn.
