Video Shoot Call - This weekend??? Anyone
I was thinking that this would be a great time to start some of those videos we've been wanting to shoot for the Masskiting "informal's" contest.. ie best wipe outs, "who is a camera slut". Looks like Chapin Beach will have ideal conditions this weekend as low tide is set for early am on Saturday so it will be filling in as the morning progresses with winds from the N and North West. I think everyone who has a video camera and tripod should show up and get as much footage as we can for a video. If Jean Dunoyer is up for editing a video again we can have a fall or winter Mass Kiting premier video party from the drab days of Fall. Daylight is slipping away earlier and the temps are getting cooler. Ideas?

Calling all video cameras...
I am getting ready for my wedding in 30 days and its soon so its not easy for me to help. I have a camera and an underwater enclosure. Chris has a water proof video camera too. So anyone else that can get a video camera on the water will help kiter or not. I propose shooting all windy opportunities where people know where the camera is. They can try for what ever they want and we will clip the best 5-10 passes or so. That can be edited to music and subtitling the riders name. Put the different rider levels together and then we can vote on the riders from each grouping. We list the days, riders, and make some time for taking some beach side interviews for fill.
Then I can make a page for them and set up the polling features. We can use what we have for a second round later or de-titling the winners ect. The biggest air, biggest splash, biggest attempt, ect ect will always be good clips..
If you show up and throw down then there is your days competition and you can have the same voting and local/live event. But that is just my idea and I say it to encourage other ideas but it will be interesting during the week to have these videos going on here. Any other ideas or do you know a good video camera or a friend that might wanna use it lol..
