Made the best out of a light wind situation. Bunch of us got out at West Dennis for some wind but not much. After being booted from the WD beach patrol due to coming storm we caught some 25 plus for about and hour of riding at South Village. Not the perfect day but really good to see everyone!

Trevor and I headed down to the cape for some winds that were predicted from the storm. Arriving at West Dennis I was greeted by Greg and Kristof who were just waiting for the wind. It was around noon and we were being told that the beach was to be closed do to 70mph winds on the way from Hurricane Kyle. Trevor and I had just left Phil's shop with Trev's new SB3 10m and having met Sandy from Montreal. Phil, Sump, JK, Dave and Sandy arrived and we set up some gear. Later More people arrived and our group arrived and the wind seemed to be just enough.

We got some riding and conversation. Just enough for some boosting and Kristof and I were having a good time while it lasted. Sump got out there and made light wind look easy with only a 10m and had some sweet unhooked play time. Sump also got some really good pictures too of Kristof in the pond which I know he will appreciate.

We did inevitably get booted from the beach and went over to South Village just in time for some heavy wind a rain. Prob about 30mph+ at times I was way past my depower limit on the 15m and had to head in to watch the smaller kite really showing their range. I was really surprised to see that one kite quiver SB3 handle the whole day! When the storm cleared the wind died off and we packed up for dinner. Had some really good laughs at the kite shack and Johnny H, Netto, Lee, Trevor, and Phil all crashed to head over to Chapin in the morning. Thank you "Team" for all the advice and new stuff I have to practice in my coming sessions! Some of the explanations are ringing clear in approaching some of these new tricks I have been wanting to get into. The "Netto Grab" and Hujol walking me through my Raley will be sure to get me riding at a higher level!
