Area 51
With air temps supposed to reach 70 in the city, and the forecast looking sketchy at best, Jermy and I decided to grab a few beverages and and work on a base tan. I picked Jermy up in Allston and we headed for Wallaston Beach where we hoped we might get out on a skim if the wind stayed northwest.
After what I later found out to be quite a bit of sun, we hit the Clam Box for lunch. Lunch consisted of a lot of fired items, some extra heavy mayo, and a few Dale's to wash it down so we needed a little down time to try and process. We decided to drive over to Area 51 to look for a old bike that Jermy wanted to use as a photo project for school. After a hour of shooting some cool photos, Jermy decided the wind was up enough to give it a try.
Pumping his brand new Ozone 11m, I launched him in the inside bay (which was not a great idea given the proximity of the road and the power lines and the trees). We moved over to the outside and got his kite up. Jermy tore off across the bay heading for PB. I shot some cool photos of Jermy kiting with the city as a backdrop. We didn't stay too long, but it was a unique experience kiting this spot, just like it was the frst tiem we kited a month ago.
I present to you, Area 51:

WOW!! thats the new 09 OZONE!!! WHoooopeeee!!!!!
NIce new Kite Jermy -
How's it compare with your 07 11?
area 51 and the new kite look nice. How would you compare the feel and handling of the ozone to other 11m's that you have been on?
