Hey Guys,

Getting things ready for the next season riding and lessons. I am still giving lesson but more on private scale as I can make a better rider with more focus on one or two students at a time. In case some of you don't know me I'm Dave Dyer aka "Skipper"....the nick-name is a long story. Anyway for all those interested in learning to kite board I will be running some open clinics on the weekends and will make announcements on this topic or you can always contact me directly on the forum or call me. Email for lessons and information is learn2kitenow@yahoo.com. My lessons are guaranteed to get you riding and I offer one on one lessons unless otherwise requested but I usually don't take on more than two students per lesson (guarantees better attention and progression). Send me a PM, email or call for a lesson and information.

See you on the water soon.

clinics

Dave and I spoke at length over the weekend about getting some clinics together. I do a bit of teaching on the side and just want to make sure everyone is safe and every newbie has a resource for info ~ Stay Tuned

Lesson

I'm a newbie that needs lessons and some help with gear selection. I'm looking to get going as soon as its warm enough for a 3/2 wetsuit.
I'm a wakeboarder so I think my board skills are all set but I haven't flown a kite since I was 12...

3/2

I'll be back in the water when it's 4/3 and booties. We'll get you on the program. Wakeboarding skills will help with the edging but you should get a trainer and fly it a lot and try to get some gear that you can practice on the beach with like a 10 or 12 meter and a harness. Then, when the water is 3/2 wetsuit friendly you'll be ahead of the curve for actually flying the kite in the water doing some body drags. You'll have your feet in the footstraps in no time and be up and racing downwind trying to figure out how to edge. That's where a good lesson comes in.

Open Clinic this weekend if interest is up

Hey Kiters,

This weekend is shaping up to look nice for an open clinic. Sun, wind, warmth and fun. If anyone's interested to just learn about kiting without any committment I will organize an informal meet and greet. This will be an information session and possible beginners intro lesson if enough interest is there but either way I am jonesing for just getting out on the beach to meet new faces looking to join the kiteboarding ranks.

If you guys have any questions:
Give me a hollar. Post here or send me a PM, email: learn2kitenow@yahoo.com or call me on the tele.
