What is MASSkiting? WHo is MASSkiting? "We" are its future!

A conversation that does not belong on pm brought to you!! Rafi has come to me with a message that embodies MASSkiting and our future! Hats off to Rafi!

Dude awesome chillin today! First of all, thanks for the tshirt, zack and I both wore it on our drive back. He had to get back for a date so we had to peace before u landed but u looked mighty nice out there in the sunset. I think zack got some nice shots of u too.

Question:
Whoever it is that edits ur videos does a sick job but as we get more and more sessions in, if its ok with u, I may try to steal a few clips to edit myself. I just got an advanced video editing program and I want to practice making some nice surfing videos. Until they were good enough for public viewing, ide keep them hidden and just use them for practice, but maybe once their nicer, if u think they are dees they can be put on the site.
It was really great today to see everyone out there, Masskiting really has done great things, so we owe u our gratitude.
Let me know if Wainman starts making shirts, I WANT ONE!!!

As far as my kiting, thanks for the pointers. They REALLY helped and I actually got upwind pretty consistently so aside from the waves knocking me over, I was very happy with my progress today. As far as the waves, the closest thing I can compare it to (correct me if u disagree), is skiing with cliffs and trees. Before ur good, they are an obstacle but once u perfect certain skills, they become ur playground. So I look forward to that. Anyways, thanks again for ur help and hope to see u out there again soon.

Simply thank you for that. I'm gonna challenge your understanding of MASSkiting and what I hope it will become. I dont give a rats as how good anything is.. It WILL be put right up!!! Why cause one of us did it and just like your kiting we will watch your editing progress!! We have a work flow bring cameras and video cameras and some will shoot, others now 5 of us will be available to edit. You want two vids of same day cause you enjoy it then its a blessing!! Now the raw footage and pics go to FTP. Some of us are going to be writers and team riders responsible for capturing stoke that others did not quite see the value of what we are doing as MASSkiting is growing! So the editors take the info from FTP and put it in an article viewable on main page. The forum is lost info in time the articles are a historical organized publication if you will. A full video section is coming..

If you dont edit who will?? You will be taught were to find the clips to do as you please. Plus highlight vids are where its at!!

So please last point if this was Johnny D's sight it would be like the last site we all abandoned(as some of us thought we founded it and got brushed aside by people we never even met after hours of participation! Driving its success to begin with from day on arghh another whole story and disapointment) do to being told what to do and how. This is your site! We fail if only a few dictate what it is and how we all participate.

With that clear you will always be credited for your part in what I hope changes the concept of a community sport here in MA and possible an influencer as to what friends can do. Maybe other sites will try to mimic our enthusiasm and team participation and spirit..

For some posting in the forum is enough and encouraged. For others you eye content and you work to organize the best stuff you see your friends posting as important not to be lost info, advice or discussion and add as a permanent piece of the actual website for the future as a reference. So I try to take posts people write and make a session report out of it for just one example of this process as for some its to involved.

The menus and stuff you see are what they are because either they are road mapped and not yet executed, waiting for a windless afternoon to make, or maybe its too much for just me. So all the pages, menus, tradition pages, web link pages, who's who of the team riders a pages ect ect. Might be waiting for you or anyone willing to learn the backend of joomla. Right now I am the only one who can really design the pages so anyone who can learn bring it!! anyone who can help with all the other brainstorming or as you said you can help edit. Then I can edit free my time to do the dirty of actual Jopomla stuff moving pages and menus. Tell me what you wanna see! Give me the verbage or pic the supporting pics and let us take MASSkiting forward!!!

Other than that the more people signing up the more momentum we have to validate or time and spent efforts

I see something organic that only the best creative business's with budgets could ever dream.. Otherwise I see the best damn group of friends to hit the scene that have decide to document our stoke, like it feel into our laps!!

So stoked MASSkiting just happened.. but not by accident!!

But really if we all share the duties shooting done by one editing done by another we will see our very best return as we all juggle relationships, work, choirs and then kiting!!! As a team sure does feel like daily stoke to get us through the rest!!!
