The 2010 Hatteras Movie Premier was a great success. 40+ MASSkiters and friends showed up at Howudoin Chris's place for a social and movie debut screening. We had time to converse, watch the 22min movie by Jean Dunoyer featuring MASSkiting in Hatt, picked our room reservations for next year, and then went out on the town.
It was amazing to see the group cheering and getting into the movie. For Jean he got to see how all that tactful editing paid off. It touched a number of people and ensured that we will be back to create new productions around community spirit. Its refreshing to see a video about us the average enthusiast and putting the spot light on our experiences. We have all seen the pros and the big events but for those watching this movie we accomplished stardom amongst our peers.
As for the houses next year. We have 3 huge houses on the water and half of them are booked already that night. For those that came to the party and were their last year its obvious that we cant wait for Hatt 2010.

Eric laying it down
So Eric before passing out told everyone to "Shut the fuck up," OMG he was so drunk and was trying to be helpful. I think a few that did not know his kindness were like "What..... Really..." I told him after and he was so sorry. He was gonna apologize but the music came back. Ohh well... He passed out 20 min later... then was locked in the bathroom after hours cause it was a clear glass slider with no handle.... SO CLASSIC!!!!!! "Guys I can get out...!!!" BAAAHHHHAHAHAA Pete and I opened it 2 inches looked in and it still did not ring a bell that it could be slid more....
So no one take offense to Eric we all love him...!

JD- Slider story? really? Did you have to share? Ahh whatever shit happens. I did appreciate being let out!
But on a serious note JD is right I did not mean to offend anyone or turn people off. So my apologies to anyone who was bothered by my statement that was not my intentions. That being said I think it was important to bring everyones attention back to the matter at hand.
Saturday was a great night for Masskiting and everyone's support of Jean's video efforts and enthusiasm for next years trip was really heartening to those of us that have been working to put this together.
