Nickerson state park

Nice to meet a bunch of Mass/kiters at Nickerson, Friendly, fun group of people, it was great to here stories of the sesh, navigating through the sand bars. I can only dream of being there. As for my wave runner lesson,I'm really disappointed, there was no wave runner. Warning to all beginners, wave runner lessons can happen only in right conditions (tide/wind). Be sure to call that morning, be specific about the wave runner lesson before leaving your house.
So I felt handcuffed in a narrow channel in shallow water, no place to go if and when I DID get up I rode for 20 seconds before approaching a sand bar I attempted a direction change in 6" of water, It hurt. So now I feel like I need a wave runner lesson, you know open water, plenty of space long rides to get the feel, try some direction turn.
