bike ride the marathon course

Hi guys,

I don't know if we have many cyclists in this forum but i wanted to share something really cool. Hal's 24th Annual Boston Marathon Ride is a chance to ride the marathon route in early morning for FREE. no pre-registrations is required - you just show up. You do need to have a good road bike and be able to bike 50 miles no prob.

Here are the details:

52 Total Miles. 26 miles each way.
BYOB: Bring Your Own Bicycle!
Cost: FREE
Experience: All are welcomed!
Date: April 20, 2009
Start Time: 6:00am EST
Estimated End Time: 10am
Location: The front steps of 'The Greater Boston YMCA' on Huntington Ave

We will ride to the starting point in Copley Square.
Weather: Rain or Shine.
Pre-requisite: Must sign agreement form to participate in physical activity. Or you may sign the waiver at the event

This is the morning after the precinct bar so if you don't drink too much ya might make it

How about hopkinton into boston ? 26 miles.
8am and would need a ride out there.
who am I kidding ? I don't even own a bike anymore.
great idea tho,maybe next year.
