I need a 4/3 wetsuit. I have accepted my 3/2 or 3/2 with short legs is not going to cut it over here. I am leaning towards a Psycho II if I can find one on sale or something else that works well.

Does anyone have recommendations on surf shops or have you seen something well priced anywhere. I am in Boston, but thinking about going to he cape on Friday.

Thanks,
Jay

Jay, call the guys at Ocean

Jay, call the guys at Ocean Extreme. They will give you a great deal on a suit and they'll get it shipped up here in a day or or two.

The NPX suits are killer. An NPX Zealot 5/4 would compliment your current suit real well. You could go all winter it bet.

A friend just picked up the NPX assassin 4/3 and the contruction and materials look great - seems more wind proof then many others - I think NPX will be my next brand wetsuit...

I just swung by Wilderness as they are listed as a NPX dealer. As posted they only have O'Neill in stock. I would like to see one of the NPX suits. They look nice it the website. I was unaware they existed.

I tried a psychofreak on at the wilderness house in the fall... I'm 50/50 about that or a drysuit for next season, but it really felt comfortable. I think the mutants are pretty sweet too but only come in hooded. I'd think the Psycho2 would be almost a year round wetsuit, and that comes with or without the hood.

phyco II

i was recomended the phyco 2 by lots of friends in ireland and got the 6 5 4 about 3 months ago. they are priced at $400+ because they are worth every penny. its toasty warm in fridged new england water and more flexible than my other 3 2 and just super comfy. the wind chill barrier they have incorperated is key for kitesurfers. I have not heard a bad thing said about them. I was lucky after watching ebay for 4 months i got a new with tags for $200 sweeeeet

jay,
I'd give phil a call.

I've picked up some rubber from phil for really cheap in the past.
a 3/2 with a oversized extra 2mm top is almost better than just a 4/3, I have both and a bit more whale blubber for added insulation

I scored a rip curl 4/3 from whiskeymilitia.com last year for like 60% off $102+10 shipping

Surf Shop

Jay, I just picked up a nice 4/3 Billabong wetsuit at Cinnimon Rainbows for $140 in Hampton, NH. Great guys up there and they have the largest wetsuit selection around. It takes about 45m drive on 95 North.
