OZONE Demo Days: June 20th & 21st on Cape Cod

Hi everyone!
OZONE kites are sending their rep Patrick up here to do 2 demo days on the Cape June 20th & June 21st. They are working with us here on MASSkiting, Funseekers.org on the Cape, and Kitesurfer.us to bring us a fleet the new kites to try and some good times.
From Ozone (windzup.com):
Clark (the mini-RV) is patched up and packed up, ready for another Kiting tour. This time Clark and his trusty driver Patrick are heading east to share the good word of Ozone with our friends on the Atlantic side. Starting in the Carolinas, and following the summer north into New Hampshire, Clark & Patrick will be loaded with a full quiver of Ozone Instincts…every size and model have been crammed in along with several cases of Ska Brew.
Hope for good wind on both days! But if not, we still have a plan.
Saturday night (June 20th) we will have a kiters party, sponsored by Ozone and all involved parties. It will be at:

No matter what, there will be:
*free and/or cheap booze (888 Vodka, Wachusett "Ryde" beer)
*good food... Cheap Oysters from East Dennis Oyster Farm

*plenty of kite talk
*possible afterparty at the infamous kiteshack
The demo beaches will be TBA that week. Check on here for information on what beach we will be at the night before. Eric from Funseekers.org will be making the call on the beaches.
Patrick, the Ozone rep, will most likely be here the whole week before the official demo weekend. If you are around during the week and want to try one of these sweet kites, check on here to see where they will be, or contact Eric at Funseekers.

don't knock it til you've tried it. We had bloody mary type shots with Ketel 1 and hot sauce the other night, awesome. The clams casino style with bacon were killer too.
Oysters are pretty nasty is you over think what you're ingesting, otherwise they're scrump dilly licious !
supposedly puts some extra lead in your pencil.....bring a date ; )

UPDATE ~ afterparty
OK.
So the Village Meeting House fell through. No worries.
The location of the party will be at the Sand Dollar Bar & Grill in DennisPort.
I'm still working out the details... but there will be 2 alcohol sponsors. Wachusett Beer and Triple 8 Vodka. We will have free samples of 888 vodka, and I'm not sure if the Ryde Beer will be free, but they will be very cheap at least. John, the official "Oyster Guy" of MASSkiting will be there shucking cheap East Dennis Oysters. The website for the Bar is down right now, but there will definitely be some type of music playing. As I talk more with the owner this week, I will get some more details. But lets all plan on getting there in the evening and hanging out for a while, and as the place gets busier, we can choose to either stay, or walk to JD's kiteshack (I hope that's ok JD) and continue the fun.

It's just one of the places that already carries 888 vodka. And they will put Wachusett's Ryde beer on just for the party. And John the Oyster Guy will already be there. So it all works out

I'm trying to coordinate going to the American Craft Beer Fest and getting to the cape for this party. wind dependent I'll prob head down after the 2nd session saturday for the Ozone party sat night.
We should probably coordinate a list of who's going and where to stay. I'm prob gonna stay in hyannis but beer dependent I'll prob pass out in my car or in a hammock at the party.

Can't wait!! Yeah the sand dollar is not even worth driving to from the shack. I might be able to help with that lodging but the shack is not actually mine but I know who to inquire with. Not sure but my parents should be there that weekend so I should be able to help him then too as my parents are really chill. But others please chime in if yah can. That party will be out of control! Might I suggest wind wanted but no way would it kill that party! But still will pray for wind!!!

Ozone Party Cape Cod
The "event" content can be added by all those who want to write and post up pictures traditionally after and event. That way it becomes like a session report. I am getting excited now! A weekend of Ozone and an all out pahtay! Again like to thank Jermy for putting this all together and planning the no-wind required Sat night at Sand Dollar.
Also like to remind folks that Funseekers is taking lesson requests and as you are getting ready to come out, think of those friends and loved ones that can meet Eric and finally be convinced that they should give kiteboarding a go!
Hope this weekend bring a good amount of wind!

DEMO in Seabrook NH June 21
Yo....I think the dates are screwed up. Ozone says the van is up with us on Sunday and that the Cape demo is actually the 19th and 20th.
Friday and Saturday on the Cape, then Sunday up in Seabrook NH. BBQ / club event at the house, demo from like 10AM - 4PM on Sunday. If the winds suck, we start drinking earlier is all.
I'll call Patrick tonight just to make sure he hasn't double booked.

Ok, I just spoke to Heather from Ozone and Patrick who is traveling to Cape Cod. We had the schedule correct and were booked for the weekend. Not sure about the cause for confusion. We don't want to disappoint those who were coming Sat night or for the Sunday ride. We offered to cancel Sunday, but instead and are seeing Patrick off for his trip North early to share the Ozone stoke at the Powerline party in NH.

Wow!
Saturday looks great for the party! I'd figure if there is no wind, we can throw some discs on the beach, drink a few, then roll into the Sand Dollar on the early side. Very exciting. you guys psyched er what??!!??!!

Sunday + party
Spoke with Heather as well and she cleared it up. Want to make sure everyone down there knows they are more than welcome to session with us up north. Looks to be 20-30kts NNE, which means Ocean side, heavy wave sets.
Either Seabrook Beach, or the Wall up by Cinnamon Rainbows....whichever has more waves.
Party afterwards is full BBQ, beer, steak tips, more beer, some Flip Cup and plenty of fakin' rain if it goes late. Just email over if you want directions to the party.

Really? I can't believe we've been screwed out of our good wind day by powderline. I thought we booked this a month ago.
It'll be okay everyone!
Obviously our party is still on. It was a party for masskiters, thrown buy us, funseekers, and Ozone, FOR MASSKITERS!! I'm still psyched.
We still have plenty of 09 ozone kites to try on Sunday. Between 4+ of us, we will have a pretty full quiver of all the kites, so every 09 style will be there to try. Why? Cause we love the company. Cause we love our freakin kites!! And because I promised & we promised the entire community that we would make this a fun weekend.
Sorry powderline took the good day. It is out of our hands. But we'll still rock by ourselves on Sunday. MASSkiting style! ;P

Ok so yesterday Patrick and Kara got out with Eric for a nice wave ride. Then after hanging out in Wellfleet came back to the shack. It was great to see the Ozone van in the village. We built a campfire and had a few drinks and some rum. It was great to hear about the Ozone adventures on both coasts. But it was a really chill eve and the MASSkiting crew yet to arrive. So I just woke up and thinking about a big family style breakfast. Not sure about a destination but for now just call 508-259-9440. Regardless of wind this is going to be a great day to get together. We are directly next store to the Sand Dollar. So I am beginning to the the potential for a crazy afternoon into the big party tonight. We should find a beach though but have not all woken up yet. These new Ozone friends have brought a great attitude and passion for sharing the stoke! Please come on over closets address to here is 262 old wharf road dennis port. That will bring you to a cottage community called salt air village. Once headed in you go right at the fork. Says middle road and my cottage is down in right #94. If you are bored and do a wind dance come on over and help shape the morning. The evening will nutz so we are gonna start early
