Someone should kite this...

I was in Colorado Springs for business, and decided to go up into the mountains with some snow shoes. Wound up at a place called Hoosier Pass (39.361672, -106.062949). It was snowy and cold, and my body really let me know that I live at 159 ft, not 11.5k+, but it was awesome. I was walking on a snow-covered dirt road, when to my right I see two back-country skiers carving down the slope. I talked to one of them who told me to stay on the road because it was "avalanchy", which I think is kinda like "sharky", but in the mountains.

Heeding her warning I progressed along the side of the mountain on the road when I came to a huge bowl going up to a mountain peak(39.367779, -106.075032). The bowl looked (to my untrained eye) "avalanchy", so I stopped and just relished the possibilities...

The wind was gusty as hell, but heavy enough to get moving for sure. I have no idea what the rest of this gem looks like other than from google, but it's apparently back-country ski-able, and only a mile into the middle of the bowl on a relatively gradual up-hill road, easily done by snow-shoe.  I had asked if people snow-kite around there at the shop where I got my snow-shoes, and they said no, not really...so maybe it's not consistent enough, but if anyone has experience in that area, I'd love to hear about it.
