Wind and waves on Thursday? Nahant or Winthrop on S/SE, anyone interested?

Thurs looks to be a great wind and wave day.
5 ft swells every 5 seconds, wind S to SE, tides = low 9ish am, mid high=noon, high 3 pm.
Anyone into checking out Nahant or Winthrop for waves versus the potentially crowded PB crowded back and forth jumpfest?
Keep me posted.

I was there the other day. Is there any comcerns there with planes? i know when the wind is from the east the planes take off right over the beach. Jeremy you have kited there more than anyone. any thoughts on that.

Besides the video that WW posted... I do not know of any problems with vortexes (vortices?) of planes and kiting. From my experience, they are already are pretty high in the air by the time they pass by Winthrop.
I'm sure I don't have to, but I always keep my kites lower when they are flying over and don't jump. like that would help

guys im ready to go all day long
wind guru, ikitesurf and noaa ( who all the wind sites use ) are all saying its straight south with a few hours of south, southwest so winthrop wouldent work, so i was thinking revere,
what does everyone else think. id like us all to go to same beach. keep posting

I personally would love to check Winthrop in the morning if anyone wants to pick me up and ride over there. Otherwise, I may just head to PB. I'm sleeping till 8.can leave anytime after that. My stuff is packed.

Got a good hour and a half in
Got a good hour and a half in up at Winthrop with Tommy and Jermy. Started out pretty lit on my 12m, but the wind was dropping. Nice breakers on the point reef, but there was a wind whole there.
Mesa was out at PB on her 9m I heard...

Scored another epic sesh at Nahant - lit on my 9. Rafi and Ned met me there, water was super smooth, I love this spot for wave riding - was able get the big boosts...

Session Reports
I ended up riding in Maine today, tired from riding the day before but that's a different story!
It was honking at Pine Point, right North of Old Orchard Beach.

I was on on my 11M and 6'2" surfboard. Nice shoulder high waves.
A bunch of local kiters that I'm friends with Roberto and Derek were out.
I was able to ride backside and frontside in both directions. Got some really nice long wave rides, making 12-15 bottom turns!
