Johnny D makes a move
I was not aware there was a camera! Sweet! Some waves were set up so nice with the tack I was doing Indy Glides of the face and drifting with the wave an landing back on it. Amazing how much difference a few years experience make compared to what I remember being so intimidated by the wash. Also finding it much easier to hit waves in one area without such long tacks to get back upwind.
I'm glad you posted it. I was gonna do a session report and put up a bunch of pics but light wasn't great, and I didn't spend much time with camera, so this is the only one worth looking at.
Thanks!
(Just let me know how much I owe you for that. I'll pay you next time I see you.)
Very good vibe. Pics and words put you right in the action and bring a smile.
I too have enjoyed your blogging over the last few years and like the simple layout. It's getting better with age
.. keep it up!
Thanks a lot guys!! It's good to know that somebody out there identifies with my "spinning my wheels" blog sometimes.
I love the Masskiting vibe! Such an inspiring community. And your films are great, Jean. We're all part of the same kiting soup. This is not your mama's soup.
Can you please run a Mk editorial column!!! I love your blog and wish it was the community dialogue because you do it so well. Mk's first posts were exactly that then came the social stuff and session reports. But if you ever want to column the front page it would be an honor! If you can manage two blogs!?! Please....!
Wow, I love Masskiting, and it's an honer to be asked, but I don't think I can do 2. I'm already earning the selfish bastard title- "first you spend all your time kiting, then you spend all your non-kiting time blogging about kiting! Kite, Kite, Kite!" (picture Edith Bunkers voice).
Is there any way we could see more content/session reports/whatever from Madeline? She always cracks me up!
Easy button like staples!
I can link
I can also see trying to make the blogs better
On the shame side there is not one wave face in that shot and I remember coming in close in the wash for the camera and thinkig... What can I jump off.
