Cape Poge, M.V.

The beach is very narrow and can be overcrowded in the summer as it has become the pik-nik spot for power boats from the cape, 4x4 fishing destination, and tours by the trustees. Most days it is quiet, but on weekends it is a carnival scene.

Local Rules

1. Do not rig or leave your gear in the 4x4 track (which is basically next to the dune grass)
2. Anchor your boat close to the gut next to other boats. No need to spread out as the boats get in the way of riding.
3. If you drive out there park at the point and walk (100 yards)
4. Stay away from the "dock house"
5. Smile as the fisherman drive over your lines.
