what would be a good place to check wind conditions for nantasket beach im not sure wat the corect spot would be for http://www.windguru.cz/int/
what part of the beach should I launch from
is their a specific time of year most people kite here i just started flying so I want to know if their was a time or day or kiting festival some time I'm guaranteed to have some one who knows something about kites to help me
P.S. is their any local rules for the beach
I've only been to Nanny a couple of times but today I was there at the peak of high tide. Be careful since the beach is small. Also, if you don't get out quick, you could end up stuck near the rocks. With big swells, this can be a bit dangerous. 1-2 hours after high tide (or low tide) rules!
I went to party yesterday in Hull at a house right on the beach, took my trainer kite and taught everyone how to fly it in between the storms, now the whole family is super stoked on kiting. Showed them the REAL website and now they are buying a trainer (prob today)and told them to head to OBX for a week long vacation and get lessons at REAL and they will have it dialed. Now I have a launch spot for nor'easters!
hull barely sees any kiters which is almost a shame. All lifeguards were always cool to me. Cam over, checked it out but thought its cool that we kite here.
high tide and on shore can be really tight since there are powerlines close to the beach. Low tide has tons of space.
If we have a nor'Easter then Hull is just THE SWEETEST wave spot in Boston in my opinion!
Barefoot bobs totally rocks (a unique mixture of surfers and Harley guys) and the salmon sandwich is the best.
