I'm selling my 2008 Mako Surf that's in pretty good condition. It does have some paint chips on the tail and a little wear on the fins, but otherwise is in great shape. This is a very well build board. For the money this is a good first surfboard. I rode it for 3 years before I got something else.

$200 OBO

Pictures available upon request.

The board is 5'6 x 16.5. It has some paint chipping on the tail and tip and a little scuffing on the fins. But otherwise its in great shape. This board is meant to be ridden powered.

I've never ridden a surf

I've never ridden a surf board kiting. Does this need as much power as a light wind twin tip? Would like to try a surf board or directional. Should this work for a first season kiter?

Hey, this board is not really

Hey, this board is not really a light wind board. Its fun when fully powered. As long as you can kite and stay up wind, anyone can ride this. But I have the most fun when its > 20 on this.
