2012 NPX Lucifer Drysuit
What's up, fellas? I've just hammered my piggy bank to get a drysuit and I would like to get an opinion from you guys. So I just came across the 2012 NPX Lucifer Drysuit and I really liked it. I was wondering if any of you have ever tried or heard anything about it.

Thank you!
I have been using my NPX Lucifer for two years now and I love it. Haven't had the opportunity to use the "pee zip" but it's nice knowing its' there. Unfortunately I have had some leaks and had to have them taken care of from another vendor. I will say this...NPX paid for the repairs. The vendor who fixed it said that he really liked the suit but could be designed a little better. I've been using it for the last month and still don't have any real issues with it...great all around suit.
My arrive last week ..... did not have chance to try it yet .....
found good deal on 2011

Its a great suit, in my opinion. I rocked it for two winters before switching back to a wetsuit.
One thing I will say is if you can try it on before buying. The NPX sizes are different then other companies. I think they size a little bigger so a L is closer to a traditional XL. But the most important thing is the torso size. Nothing worse than having one that rides up on your crotch! I think that really goes with all dry suits.
A lot of people love, and swear by the OR dry suits those are great too. The things I loved about the NPX were,
Piss Zip
Neoprene neck, super comfortable
The hood-which really did help when riding in rain or other shitty weather- I believe it is also removable now on the newer suits if you find you dont like it,
Lastly the bright colors- not just style but it makes you really visible out on the water which in the middle of the winter is not a bad thing at all!
Anyway people go either way however I have rarely heard of someone who used it and didnt love it, instead its usually people who never even put it on picking it apart...
Welcome to winter kiting!
