Heading there in two weeks with the wife and kids. Staying at an all inclusive about 2 miles north of XPU Ha. Looks like a decent place to kite. If anyone has been there I'd appreciate a heads up on what conditions to expect.

My buddy/ kite teacher from Cabarete lives down there....

He runs a couple kite schools on the Mayan Riviera, one in Xpu Ha.

His name is David Furchgott, his company is Morph kiteboarding. Tell him his student Greg from Cabarete said hello!

thanks for the connection with Morph

Greg,
Thanks for making the connection. I emailed DAvid and it appears he has a shop right at Xpu ha on the beach. Will leverage his arsenal of boards instead of hauling my own South of the boarder.

I'll mention you said hi. Thanks again for the heads up on Morph.

Bill.

my friends have moved down

my friends have moved down there and are pretty kite obsessed. I would drop them a line, tell them I sent you (Jean Dunoyer) and that you're from Masskiting.

thanks for the connection with your friends aboard Zia

Jean,
Thanks for the connection. I'll plan to reach out to your friends and it's quite possible we have mutual friends down in Annapolis. I've raced one design for several years out of Annapolis with a number of sailing friends in that community. I'll reach out in a attempt to get their perspectvie on the kite beaches and transport options to the kite spots. Sounds like they found a nice temporary home in Puerto Adventuras.

thanks agian.
