I am gonna be at sugarloaf for the weekend and monday, I want to find a place to snowkite. Does anyone know any place close to here(Kingfield, Me)? There is flagstaff lake but I have no idea what that is like this time. Any Suggestions???

Phillipas,

Did you find any place to snowkite near sugarloaf? I am going there at the end of the month and was wondering.

Thanks!

There are some pretty big

There are some pretty big fields in town, kingfield, that I rode many years ago. the wind was ok as it funnels down the valley. No worries about thin ice and there's a bit of terrain to make it fun, lots of snow mobilers and tracks etc so just watch out for that. I rigged right behind the hotel I stayed at and could go for a pretty good distance
