Carson Beach or Squantum Beach?
Hey guys,
Was checking out iKiteSurf just now. If you check outo the dynamic maps you can actually see a wind buoy for Carson Beach. However there isn't a way to save Carson beach to your favorites which is very strange!
Anyhow, just wanted to know if anyone has ever kited at Carsons, its very close to boston so its a good option for me if the wind is good. Any rules against kiting there?
Also wanted to get everyone's take on squantum. I heard some whisperings of people that kite there too.
Thoughts?

that's our secret stash, man
why kite at Carson when you can kite at P-Bay?
one of my best friends lives in quincy and I drive down that beach road all the time passing the squantum yacht club and such. Looks gorgeous out there if the wind was coming out of the east but my friend was under the impression the water wasnt safe to swim in due to contamination? Not sure what the story is here but I have never noticed anyone in the water.
Anyone know the deal?
um answer quick? Wind is boosting at squantum. A sweet 16 on i kite
Check this map of Boston Beaches, a red pin means that the bacteria levels were high on the day of that test, green means acceptable levels. P-bay is clean, Carson had high levels sampled on the 8-11. Good to check before you go out especially if there was a good rain storm, you might be swimming in crap.

You don't want to kite Carson beach.
Water is way worse than PB. It's in a wind hole from all but one direction. It's shallow and nasty.
Squantum is kitable by advanced kiters, but limited otherwise.
I heard some beaches are closed at the moment around there because of water quality issues.

I would love to go. I think the water is the same as pleasure bay, can't imagine it being any different.
If anyone is going there today I would love to tag along. Not sure where the launch points are.
