Hi,
I would be in but i have to share a car with someone (i can eventually rent one). I saw that the wave forescasts are interesting for wednesday and thursday (5 feet).
Where do you launch exactly at Winthrop (saw the website but don't really get it)? We went there last week and I though that it would be a nice kite spot. We parked at the end of the shore drive, is the launch site around there?

Please stay south of the staircase so that you are far enough away from the plover nesting area. They check the site in the morning.

Perfect dawn sesh. Was on
Perfect dawn sesh. Was on the water at 5:45, wind was a solid 30 knots, the sweet spot for my seven meter Wainman Hawaii Gypsy. No shore pound, flat on the inside, nice wind swell outside, which wrapped around the point to form some peaks. Lip smackin' fun. Waves came in sets, Jermy did not have a small kite, so he stood by as my safety factor, thanks, pal. By 8:30 I was spent, ready for my morning meeting in Allston. It amazes me that commercial jet liners take off in weather conditions like that! I could hear them, but I could not see them.
