First kite for snowkiting.. Not so much

Picked up my first kite last week hoping to try snowkiting... Yea not so much this year huh. Looks like I'll have to find a cheap mountainboard to try out instead.

Anyone have any inputs on how much different mountainboarding is from snowboarding? Experienced snowboarder but never tried a mountainboard.

Not really but

I snowboard, and have skateboarded. from skateboarding, I think "edge" control on anything with wheels is different from an edge that "slides" That said, I'm not sure which one is better/worse, just different.
