It was my fault!!
HI Richie, nice meeting you yesterday. I spoke with Phil today the kite is all set. I didn't have the valve completely closed correctly. Which I assumed, but wanted to make sure. Phil took payment, so your all set. I'm picking up the kite tonight after I close up at the motel.
