Does anyone have a good internet site for current wind speeds for MA/NH? Anything Droid apps available? I have windguru but to my knowledge it does not give current wind speeds.

Thx,
Joe

Ditto, ikitesurf - or their alter ego, windalert - is my go-to source. Pricey though. There's a windalert app for droid that I use.

Also for current conditions (not forecast) you can check wunderground's wundermap on a computer http://bit.ly/zsR4xE and although wunderground does have a droid app it doesn't currently have wind info as an option.

iKitesurf Free Membership

I find the iKitesurf free membership to be perfectly adequate. Their wind/temperature meteograms have been pretty much spot on every time I've used them (mostly for Nahant Bay).

As far as apps go, these are

As far as apps go, these are what I have on my iPhone and use them regularly. Maybe they come for droids too.

Magicseaweed -great wind charts... Look for trends in future models
Windfinder -like wind alert. Better colors... More European feel Wink its got more info per location, like tides, maybe not all the locations wind alert has. Don't know about the full version
Wind alert -good if you have the full version. Easy to see all your favorites at once. And has phone alerts... Which, if you have a full time job can get really annoying.
Weather channel -good for basic weather... Use it a lot for the current radar map.

May want to get a good tide app, I haven't found one I like yet (for free)

I've been hunting around for similar sites recently and came up with this one;
http://windmapper.com/NE/observations

Gives a brief wind history,current and forecast.
