Hey Kiters - new to this forum, just found it and joined 20 minutes ago.

I live in Providence (I usually kite Newport, Conimicut, Roger Wheeler..) and don't have a good North/NE kite spot locally so I was going to head to the Cape. Chapin is great for N/NE winds but I wanted to know if anyone has been to Sagamore? Its 30 minutes closer to me. Should I just make the drive to Chapin?

Also, anyone have an idea if there will be wind into the afternoon? I work until noon tomorrow so hopefully I rigged up before the winds drop. Forecasts look mixed.

If anyone want to give me a heads up by phone you can call me too 207 650 9884, leave a VM.

peace.

Hey man, Sagamore is a decent

Hey man,

Sagamore is a decent spot but totally different from Chapin. Sagamore gets a lot more swell and waves, has some rock jettis depending on what part you launch from etc. Chapin is beautiful flat water and depending on the tide changes conditions slightly. Check the beach section here feel free to give me a call if you want to talk about sagamore or chapin. 508 989 9038.

Welcome to the forum and hope to meet you out on the beach.
