Pretty certain my C4 has a pinhole sized leak somewhere. How do I find it and repair it?

Disconnect the tubes linking

Disconnect the tubes linking the leading edge bladder with the struts. This probably requires cutting the zip ties with wire cutters. Have zip ties ready when reassembling.

Push the nipples in so the bladder will slide out

Open the zipper and take out the bladder.

Pump up the bladder outside the sleeve, run a garden hose on it to locate the pinhole. Mark it with a sharpie. Apply the patch, they usually come with the kite or you can get some from kitefix.

Before you put the bladder back in, be sure you patched all the holes, there are most often more than one.

Thread the bladder back in using a broom stick duck taped to the end of the bladder.

Have fun. Allow plenty of time.

I suggest pump and spray before removing the LE bladder

I usually pump the kite to 8psi or so. Then use a spray bottle of water/dishsoap over all the bladder areas. I find the leak(Drunk blow bubbles pretty quickly.

Helps you focus in on where to look and water test when you pull the leaky bladder.

I'd hate to remove the LE bladder of a one-pump just to find out it was a strut bladder.

Fixing a one pump kite leak

I agree with Jean once you know you have a LEI pin hole/s as you suggested. BUT I would pump 8psi and listen up and down then soapy sponge ect. If you find it in the one pump you might avoid the issue. I have also pulled out a handful of bladder once to path vs full removal.
