I haven't ben down since the wind stoped blowing on the cape. Wind or not I'll be on the cape with old uncle. I'm sure wind will happen at least one day.

I'm gonna be at the Cape. Hopefully it will be windy and we can all meet up to kite.
So far in Buzzards Bay:
Fri...E winds 15 to 20 kt...becoming NE 5 to 10 kt. Seas 1 to 2 ft.
Sat...E winds 5 to 10 kt...becoming S in the afternoon...then becoming SW 10 to 15 kt. Seas 1 to 2 ft.
It's still far away so this might change a lot, but let's keep our fingers crossed.

May try to hit Sandy Neck Friday if the forecast holds up. For Sat- Sun where's a good spot on a SW on a crowded weekend? Thinking maybe Pleasant Bay to avoid Memorial Day w/e crowds?

Newbie at W.B
I will also be down the cape this weekend. I'm a newbie so I'm afraid Waquoit Bay might be my only option but it would be great to meet some of you. Any other newbie want to share my shame?

do the beach restrictions go
do the beach restrictions go into effect on Saturday? That's what I'm assuming, even though Memorial Day isn't until Monday and that's when the beaches section says that restriction start.
I want to go to WD for the Southwest but I'm still not 100% confident about staying upwind. I was able to stay up wind in hatteras 100% of the time. maybe i go to WB but I'm thinking that will be too crowded with new beginners.

Hardings Beach?
Never ridden there, but is Hardings a crowded spot in the summer? I will be around the south shore this weekend, looking to kite on Saturday or Sunday on the cape.
I don't know you guys yet, I was at Chapin kiting with some of you on Saturday, May 15th though. I am lower level intermediate, not pulling any substantial tricks yet but I stay upwind just fine and can keep out of everyone's way.

Hardings is a good summer
Hardings is a good summer spot. Launch and land quickly, then set sail for Monomoy, stay away from the boat channel.

I'll be down the Cape surfing tomorrow and maybe Friday.Sat and Sunday will be kite days.
Not sure what I'm doing on Sat but Sunday I'm def doing a big fat downwinder on Sunday.

Yeah, I'll be on Nantucket till Sunday... thinking about sticking around the Cape till Monday. I hope there is wind. I'm an optimist.
