So I bought a new bladder for my 08 11m Waroo and I have tried 8 times to string it through and every time it has multiple twists!! I have tried baby powder, everything. I am at the point where unless someone has advice that I am not trying I want to just pay someone to put it in.
1) does anyone know how to get it in without twists
2) if not, who can I send it to to get it put through?

Thanks all!!! I want to get this fixed so i can get back out!!!

Rafi....

Are you folding it up accordion style before placing it in?

Baby powder is key in a bag first but then you have to lay it out and fold it back and forth, back and forth, starting from the midlle of the bladder, so when you are done the wingtip is on top and everything is folded in a neat folded pile underneath it.

Does that make sense? If unclear, let me know 857-237-1069, i've done it a bunch of times sucessfully.

Is it an airtime orange

Is it an airtime orange bladder? I just went thru multiple removings and reinstalling of a bladder. The thing I noticed was that the original bladder is a lot easier to reinstall than the airtime because the airtime is much bigger in diameter, has all that extra material to keep flat and straight as it's fed in.

It helped to pull the string from a valve hole until the bladder reached that far, then pull from the next valve hole, then pull from the end- to keep the pulling in more of a straight line.

Also helped to be very careful about how I oriented the kite sleeve, as flat and with the valve holes pointing up, as possible to match the bladder. I found that it was around the sharper corner angle near the ends that the kite sleeve didn't want to lay flat. That might vary from kite to kite.

Leaky bladders are such a pain in the brain.

Good Luck!
Steve

Theres always youtube. (If

Theres always youtube. (If you havent already tried that). And another thing is if you end up getting it in without any twists, pump it up and deflate it a few more times so it sorta shimmys into place and you can be positive its in right before you go fly it. (Just as a precaution)

Patience, it takes two

Rafi,

It would be a lot easier with two people to do this but you could do it on your own. Skyrocket has the technique you should follow. Give that a try and if that doesn't work give me a call.
