So I have been riding with a Best size medium harness, and it was fine while I was wearing a 6/5/4 wetsuits... although a bit loose at time... but now that I am no longer wearing the supper thick neoprene my harness is way to big, too the point where with my power strap completely tightened and my spreader bar straps as tight as possible my spreader bar was at least an inch away from me I could see through the gap to the water...

I really like the Dakine renegade... just trying to decide what size to get. Not sure if I should get a S or an XS. Anyone have any experience?

Im a big fan of the North

Im a big fan of the North Harness. Or You can just eat junk food till it fits. Thats what I did. Now my harness fits but none of my kites are big enough.

Depends on your waist size

Depends on your waist size and the brand for the size. I'm about a 31 waist and I use a small Dakine harness. I'm personally not a fan of the Mystics or North harnesses but just might be the one's I've tried. If you can try to get to a shop and try some on. Or borrow one at the beach and give it a test run.

Key is to test and hang off

Key is to test and hang off something... Everybody has different body shape and harnesses are all different. I know my north harness didn't fit me but then got the mystic shadow and love it. The warrior didn't fit though felt was too high on sides..

I second the Shadow...

I second the Shadow... although I think the Warrior 3's are a lot more comfy now.

are you sure?

Did you know that Boston Kite School has a bunch of Mystic harness both seat and waist in stock? The shop is in Lynn and there is a hang bar.

Thats pretty awesome, but Im

Thats pretty awesome, but Im down in CT right now. I might hold off till I go up to RI again and swing by Hooley, they have North and Dakine. Not sure how long it will be.

I have tried on both an XS and S dakine pyro and could use either one, it was just a couple weeks ago so I dont remember how they fit exactly.

Thanks for the help though guys

warrior iii

I try a lot of different harnesses and i found Warrior III to be the most comfy and supportive waist harness i've tried to date..have not had a single negative feedback about these from any customers or students.
