I'm from San Diego (light air capital of So Cal) and am visiting the Boston area (Woburn) Sept 20-24. I plan fly in early and stay in West Dennis for two days (the 20th and 21st) to do some kiting (I'm a decent intermediate).

Looking for info on expected water tempuratures, so I know which wet suit to bring?
A full 2/3, full 3/4, booties, gloves?

Any advice on typical wind speeds and kites flown at that time of year?

Thanks

you will want your 3/4 and

you will want your 3/4 and booties most likely.
check swellinfo or majicseaweed for water temp before you leave for the cape and gage off that.

Pretty variable

Anywhere between no neoprene and a 4.3 can be appropriate depending on the day and where you ride. Gloves, no. Boots, probably but more to protect your feet. You will probably want a 12-13 and 8-9 kite. We can get the odd high wind day but those two kites will have you covered if you weigh as much as the average crash test dummy.
