Newbie coming to Boston Area in May

Hi guys, i will be arriving in Boston in may 2013. I am from the northeast coast of Brazil and I have ben kiting for about 6 months. I weight about 200 pounds and Here in Brazil I have a 13m2 kite which I use for winds of up th 18 knots and a 9m2 for faster winds. I don't intend to bring my equipment with me and want to buy new equipment as soon as I arrive or when the season starts. What do you guys suggest? Is there a place where I can buy a new, or slightly used kite for a reasonable price? What are the usual wind conditions during the kite season? What kite sizes do you suggest for a guy os my weight?

9 and 12 wil work in most
9 and 12 wil work in most cases. I also have a high wind kite, it's a 5.5 but I'm a little guy. To buy gear check out these places:

Que legal saber que tem brasileiros fazendo kite por aqui.
Eu aprendi no Brazil e faço kite qdo viajo pra Florida ou pro Caribe, mas nunca me aventurei nas aguas geladas daqui de MA.
Junior se vc puder me dar umas dicas de alguns lugares por aqui que sejam bons quem ainda esta aprendendo,eu agradeço.

Ja comecaram a velejar esse ano? Sou Canadense, mas morei 4 anos no Brasil, acabei de voltar para Boston. Tambem aprendi no Nordeste, perto de Natal. Tem algums dicas de lugares boms? Poderiamos tentar fazer um grupo de velejo!

Fala aí Galera, Massa saber que a galera do Brasil está chegando pro Kite em peso na area de Boston. Sou iniciante também. Comecei aprender no nordeste, semana que vem estou indo pra cape hatteras North Carolina mas no verão vamos velejar por aqui!
