today i was at horseneck a had my skimboard and 11 meter 2010 ocean rodeo rise kite stolen right off the beach. if anyone sees anything for sale please let me know. The skim is a roush morpheus 151 with dakine deck pads on top. kite is fluorescent green, black and white.

Nothing is safe
Sorry to hear about that. Didn't know OR makes an 11meter kite? I've had two kites stolen from me, from my car. Window smashed in twice. Most of the time it is a crime of opportunity not someone that will actually use it. I write my name and contact information with a sharpie on all my gear. I hope you find it and the theif.

Umm....
Hate to ask, but how did they manage to have enough time to wrap up your lines and deflate your kite without anyone seeing it? Cheeky, no?
Reason I ask is that years ago, when I was a pole-boarder, I had a new wave sail stolen while at one of my regular spots. It was de-rigged and in the bag - so easy to just grab and go. I knew everyone, or so I thought, I found out later that one of my fellow sailors had a little "problem" with gear and ownership. Unfortunately it was a popular model and color and I didn't have my name on it. Every time I saw that size/color I looked hard at the person and wondered if they knowingly, or not, bought my sail on the cheap.
Turns out the person who blends in best is actually one who is already part of the group. They don't look out of place packing up gear on the beach, can predict your movements, and can offer a multitude of excuses if questioned - just a thought.

it was packed in the bag on the beach. they took the 11 and the bag it was in, the skim and bag it was in, the empty board bag(board I was using) and empty kite bag (kite I was using). they even stole my piece of shit pump!!

Sorry to hear about the gear. I have a Roush skim and love it and would be crushed if someone jacked it. I've definitely left it by the wall at p bay way too many times while being out at sunset and even after dark. After hearing about your gear I'm going to stop doing that.
Since they took all your gear including the shitty pump I'd say it's someone that knew the kites were worth money but probably doesn't kite. So keep your eyes open on ebay, CL, BoardLocker.com and the like.
I heard about your gear getting jacked up at Seabrook yesterday so the guys on the north shore are keeping their eyes open too.
