Thu 6/22/10 (Skip Work and Ride!)
So Thursday, so far, looks rockin!
If this forecast holds, I'll skip work and ride all day.
All I wanna know, is whose comin' with me man?
I'm in, where we going?
Me too, Hardings would be nice, unless the wind blows sufficiently closer to home. Could also try Horseneck, how was it there last weekend vis-a-vis access? Sky rocket, you gonna call in sick?
im lookin too play hooky too anything more solid on location, my vote is for hardings or WD
I'm in. My vote is for West Dennis in a SW.
I will probably hit WD with my son who will be windsurfing.
WD Is fine with me. Yea Kitesurfing!!!!! what time?
Bring the Hatteras clips!
do you guys think they will be charging at the lot in the bad weather???
good call. maybe go somewhere where its not 20 bucks to park.
how much is Chatham and how much is WD?
there is the chance that the wind will blow the $$ collector away. bad weather usually means free parking. it is a toss up big gusts (wacky) or parking fees. WD is 20$$. does anyone know how much hardings is??? i shooting for low gust 10m winds(WD). i will give you a shout after work spatsy. all others -508 888 1830- jesse
Hardings wasn't charging anything in early June, they may be waiting to staff the kiosk until July 4th weekend
I would like to join you guys tomorrow if thats ok ... I think Chatham is good for beginners? how is WD? First time for both places.
Skyrocket are you coming? We can talk smack about my brother and his windsurfing skills... =)
Waquiot Bay may be a better choice. You need to be able to stay upwind at WD and hardings. I also wouldn't want to bodydrag around chatham b/c I'm a big pussy when it comes to sharks.
Chatham not so good for beginners, wind's onshore.
I've been a Waquiot regular lately. Weekdays are not bad for boats at all. The channel is packed on the weekends, plus othere small sailing craft hanging around the main kite tack.
I hope to get to WB sometime around 2pm. It sounds like I won't be by myself.
Don't say the dirty windsurf word!LOL
Give me waves or give me work is my new moto...
maybe pbay after work, we'll see.
WD - collectors where there today. Showed up at 4:00 and told them I may not stay. They did not charge me.
Hardings, Chatham was there in the AM today - No collectors yet. I think they need school to be done before their collectors are available. As an asside, there wat not quite enough wind to get out. No joy what had.
Forest, Chatham - No fees, better in a SW for beginners as its side on shore but less beach. Also, its a bit of an expedition to get to the flats at Monomoy.
As you may be able to tell, I visited 3 beaches today. Got very little riding in. The wind just was not there when I was.
Tomorrow looks solid. I hope it holds.
I was at Hardings on Sunday and they were still not charging at all. When they do I believe its $15. The flats are really sick there too
the t storms will pass boston around 6pm heading for the cape, lets hope we get some steady wind
Folks,
head to the water and score your sesh cause the wind is going down fast after 4pm and careful out there cause is going to be very gust and strong wind at times!
I'll see you all this weekend for a short sesh since I'm slowly getting back to action I still 2 months from prime time.. But I'm coming baby

Is Waquiot infiltrated with boats this time of year?
