Grew up in Trindad/Tobago. He's out for the afternoon, but next time I catch him I'll ask about beach conditions. It might be hard though, he's not a kiter, but I've been curious to ask him stuff anyways.

Check at Pigeon Point. Kite rental place on the beach. Nice area. Wasn't windy the day I was there. Take a look at it on Google Earth
