Everyone can relax, the

Everyone can relax, the forecast is for 2 maybe even 3 days or wind, so you should be able to make it fit somehow into your crazy schedules. Of course, in an ideal world, we would take the entire day to kite together, hang out after to drink beer, make a fire, and collapse in a warm bed or in a tent, but the care free days are not here yet....

Why don't you just kite

Why don't you just kite across to the Vineyard. It's only 9 miles or so.
The swell will be bigger and the cut between Tisbury Great Pond and the Ocean is open and created a perfect sand bar offshore.

Corporation

There's a fairly organized Windsurfing Wave Jam happening at Corporation tommorow. 20 good sailors coming from all over.

Because it's such a small break, we hope that folks would consider kiting elsewhere for one day.

Most of the local guys are aware of this.

Give respect....Get respect. Thanks! (and get some!)

Thanks guys

Call it the last gasp of a dying sport....
Actually, expecting some pretty hard throw down.

My personal preference would be Horseneck in the am, but we've kind of pumped the event for Corp.

Anyway, thanks....

jg....I have never been to fogland, but i'd be happy to straighten someone out....seems like the folks with marginal skill are always the ones stirring the pot

I am thinking of going early

I am thinking of going early (maybe on the water at 8am). Anyone else gonna be there that early? I have plans for the afternoon and need to get back to Boston.

I have never kited at Wingaersheek, i assume you simply park in the normal lot and then stick to the left side of the beach when you head out. Is there anything to worry about there other than the current in the river?
