Waves and wind at Horseneck Friday?
Here's hoping
I am in, lets pray for the god of the wind Eolus
You're killing me with these Friday Horseneck sessions!
Ever since I took up Kiting about a month or so back it has been WINDY this fall...I must be the golden boy. Shame I am going to miss this weekend headed to Ft. Lauderdale to hone my new skills.
Enjoy
Jean,
I would be down for horsey tom. I got the day off. Hit me up in the AM 407-579-4750
Paul
Should i bring the roo jean?
Why don't you just kite across to the Vineyard. It's only 9 miles or so.
The swell will be bigger and the cut between Tisbury Great Pond and the Ocean is open and created a perfect sand bar offshore.

There's a fairly organized Windsurfing Wave Jam happening at Corporation tommorow. 20 good sailors coming from all over.
Because it's such a small break, we hope that folks would consider kiting elsewhere for one day.
Most of the local guys are aware of this.
Give respect....Get respect. Thanks! (and get some!)
Folks,
So in this case I think Winga should be another excellent option since will be NW wind
North Shore here we come
have fun OUTCAST
In my case your guys should be able to go forward with the event and use the whole beach!
Winger or Dux?
Always respect from kiters.. Wanna know how much "respect" I got one day when I went to Fogland to kite?
Enjoy the waves!
What are the waves like at Wingaersheek?
Call it the last gasp of a dying sport....
Actually, expecting some pretty hard throw down.
My personal preference would be Horseneck in the am, but we've kind of pumped the event for Corp.
Anyway, thanks....
jg....I have never been to fogland, but i'd be happy to straighten someone out....seems like the folks with marginal skill are always the ones stirring the pot
Directly to the left on the point Winger has waves. I'm heading there tomorrow.
Sound's like the game plan in Winga who's coming??
Skipper - confirmed
JGASKA?
Just4contact - confirmed
Anyone else?
Anyone ever kited in Crane's beach??
I am thinking of going early (maybe on the water at 8am). Anyone else gonna be there that early? I have plans for the afternoon and need to get back to Boston.
I have never kited at Wingaersheek, i assume you simply park in the normal lot and then stick to the left side of the beach when you head out. Is there anything to worry about there other than the current in the river?
I guess another option would be Chappaquoit Beach on the cape. I was at chapin last weekend and would like to try somewhere else. anyone thinking of going to Chappaquoit?

Weird how it's always windy on Friday. Must be because it's Jermy's day off.
