Looks like winds are on the way....
Windguru calling for winds Wednesday/Thursday. Planning on going to the Cape. Looks like wind Friday/Saturday as well. Get your work done...lawn mowed ....homework done Madeleine!
Weekend should be stellar too as I have to be in VT for ski patrol stuff. See you out there!

Ha ha! Ill have homework done

Ha ha! Ill have homework done but unfortunately I have surgery tomorrow and won't be in kite-shape for at least 6 weeks Sad

I am considering blogging my surgery tho to keep myself amused - it's weird being on the other side of the curtain!

Btw I didnt get to say thanks so much for the swordfish and super yummy oysters!

If thats a push to far on a friday afternoon, will pleasure bay work?

I know that in the summer there are some restrictions do you know when these are lifted?

Pleasure Bay is free of restrictions Labor Day to Memorial Day. That said, it is NOT a beginner spot. Launch and land require excellent kite control, it is a tight congested area highly visible to the public, so we CANNOT have ANY kooking out there WHATSOEVER. If you ride there with insufficient experience, you often end up taking a long swim across the lagoon as it essentially an offshore breeze spot.

Also, wind direction is very important to consider there. SSW to SSE is what you want. Anything outside of that and you are in for serious trouble.

Yer I know I just could not

Yer I know I just could not remember when it worked.
I was there in a spring and did a good amount and met a load of people.
No probelem with my level of kiting but thank for the warning.
