Aruba

So I went for a 9 day trip to Aruba. Out of the 9 days there were 4 kiteable days and I ended up kiting 3 of those. I was on the west part of the island so the wind was off shore. It wasn't a big deal as there were support boats that could pick you up. The wind was pretty gusty though 'cause it comes off land. So you have to stay out 300-400 feet off shore to get smoother and stronger wind. The whole offshore wind is kind of a pain 'cause you can't be fully independent(have to wait for a support boat to pick you up).

The nightlife on the island is pretty mellow. It's mostly couples there and there aren't that many bars and clubs. There was a Senor Frogs there (if anyone has heard of it) and a piano bar.

I wish it was windier and the wind was stronger but overall it was a good trip. You can't beat 82 degrees in December.
