We decided to make it a family day at the beach. Lily and Julian, Chris, Amy, and I got a late start from Boston and ran into some serious traffic. After a two and a half hour ride down we arrived to a packed Harding's beach with kites already in the air. We picked a spot, I pumped my 14m and hit the water. Chris shot some photos while waiting for Julian and Lily, then pumped his 14m.
Wind picked up a bit about an hour later and stayed steady all day. Kites ranged from 14m to 10m and despite the high tide, we took a trip over to the flats. Chris made a loop around the island while Julian and I rode back to kite in front on the camera and take a quick rest.
Spent the last hour messing around for the camera. We all worked on hand drag backrolls with kiteloops (double backroll kiteloops for me). Haley had them down the best, throwing a few near perfect ones.
Ate dinner at Kreme and Kone just off the beach, and Neto joined for some recaps of the day.
