Highway to Hull!!
Showed up with my roomate and aspiring kiter, Dustin "The Red Skeleton" Skurlock.
Was blowing mid 30's upon my pumping. Started on an 8 and the wind immediately backed off. Ended up doing a side on downwinder, got some great toeside wave rides heading back to the beach.
Thumbed a ride to the beginning of the beach and promptly rigged a 10M, after being on the water again, seems a 13m would have been the call. Somehow a 13 and the waves doesn't sound right to me.
Billy and my roomate gave me a launch and ended up doing a sidewinder since the wind had went directly on shore. This time getting a ride back from The Red Skeleton.
Elapsed session time was 11am to 1:30.
Very warm, getting sunny, 40 degrees. Crumbly head high surf.
We just barely caught the dying wind at Winthrop. Nice waves but not enough juice.
I wish there was a highway to Hull. I might actually ride there if there was. The one time I went there it took so long on the back roads that vowed never to go back.
Yo, you are off the hook
U have been scoring all the sessions and leave me out of the fun.. C'mon next time invite your friends..
Nice report!
