Overall it was a good day. Typical for Indian, the wind was up and down, but we all got in alot of good kiting. Though the wind was light overall, at times it was definitely over 20mph, gusting to about 25ish id guess. There was also noticeably more ice than on saturday, but thanks to Bob for giving me (and JD) an extra set of Volant skis that had super sharp edges....they made such a difference on the ice compared to my skis (that i love but they have about a season of use since last tuning/sharpening). Thanks again Bob! And good job to Davide who kited on snow for the first time ever on a snowboard. After somewhere between 2-4 hours we called it quits. Not a bad president's day weekend, snowkiting for my first time this year on saturday, then again on sunday, and again on monday! Now i just gotta figure out how to get out of work one day this week to take advantage of all this snow we're "supposed" to get tomorrow. Hope to see you all out there soon.

This day Pete and I hit the store for elbow protection. I think that pads help and elbows get really screwed up and you need them to break your fall. No reservations need to take your falls and elbows hit 1st. But I had a blast doing huge fig 8 just hammering the turns and looping the kite while holding it down while plowing snow. Figure the its a smaller kite then you needed on water and its easy to hold down. But really the speed is great and you can haul! Not as great as flatwater but really an excellent seasonal blend!
