PBay & Squantum
After getting a little over an hour of kiting in on the bay, we ventured over to the ocean side. Jasmin helped Amy fly Howudoin's trainer for a bit. She started to get the feel of the kite and did really well. Jermy decided to do some maneuvers with the trainer and ended up breaking one of the lines. I managed to capture the stunt on camera! Check out the picks! He just got the wind knocked out of him.![]()
After that, Shane decided ride the WSW winds as it was surprisingly not too gusty. That ended quickly with a couple tacks. Too many holes in the wind.
Jermy hit up the local beer garden for some burgers and beer. Afterwards, we called up Leo and HowUDoin do meet us over at Squantum. The tide was lower then I had seen it in while which made the sandbar perfectly accessible. The wind was easily gusting into the high 40's. Leo rigged up his Vegas 7m and then headed out. Within a few minutes of going out, he injured his knee on a huge kiteloop.
He kept his legs straight on the landing. That put him out of commission for the day. Jermy then took the reigns of the kite and landed some sweet jumps. Next HowUdoin had a turn on the 7m Vegas and landed some nice jumps as well.![]()
Check out the special Kitefurr Edition photos at the end! ![]()
