I get word that Haley, Jermy, and Kristof will be at the Pond. So I make the trek. It is a gorgeous late Fall day, sun, moderate wind. We crowd the pond and I get a close up look at the transition moves Jermy and Kristof have been working on: lots of rolls and loops and dark slides. I have a lot of catching up to do. A fellow starts taking photos, we exchange emails and he graciously shares these beautiful images with me. Enjoy!

Jermy, I recognize that kite

Jermy;

I'm glad my C4 is treating you well. I recognized it in one of the pictures by one of pieces of tape I put on the canopy.

It definitely could have ended differently

Jermy;

It really was odd. The wind was really pretty solid, close to 20 kts. Then I entered the canal and the wind just shut off and it fell out of the sky. I guess it was that same lake of wind that allowed the kite to float gently down and carefully extract it. Really kind of a miracle that it was not damaged.
