Summer conditions at Horseneck today. Warm, light winds, but a good swell.
Needed the 17M/big board to save to session.

At this point, I should be posting the awesome video, but apparently I am
not quite ready to "Go Pro".
The "Go Pro" case comes with a two case doors, one waterproof and one not.
Apparently you are supposed to use the waterproof one for kiting. Seems kind
of obvious as I write it down here, but I can be impressive at times.

Still learning $300 at a time.
Off to put my cat in the microwave now to dry him off...

you can often save

you can often save electronics that get salty by rinsing in fresh water and if you take it apart and get to the boards with a bit of alcohol swabs even better. then let it dry with dessicant..or rice. don't let it sit when slaty as corosion kills quickly. have saved many a fancy toy/instrument that way

ps for kiting contour roams have worked really well for me.. no case needed

Ouch, that sucks. But very entertainingly written! We just learned the hard way that dry-sacks are not submersible, also at the cost of a camera.

Don't feel too bad! My specialty is cell phones- the moment it slipped from my hands into the toilet was pretty memorable. Lost another one by using a dry bag that wasn't dry on a downwinder. Anybody got a cell phone to destroy, just give it to me. Go Pros we'll give to you, Captain.
