My friend came down from Portsmouth to give kiteboarding a try. I was hoping the wind would stay SW so we could play at Revere but it turned pretty far west, so we had to head over to Dog Beach which isn't very beginner friendly, especially in high tide.

When we arrived there was a guy kiting at Nahant, in pretty much straight off shore conditions. Of course it's not as dangerous as it sounds since you could pull out at Swampscott, but that's like 1.5miles away. There were a few kites up at Dog Beach, 2 guys I don't remember the names of. I put up my 10m, but it wasn't enough at first. My friend played with the trainer for a bit. The wind picked up as the other guys packed up so it was just me pretty well lit up on the 10m. My buddy got a few pictures, I like this one the best... 1/2 way through an unhooked kiteloop:

(I may had photoshopped it a bit)

It's been awhile since I kited in choppy water - being spoiled by Pbay. It's freaking hard! I had a lot of issues with my Bullaroo unhooked, it just needed to be trimmed absolutely perfect or else it'd just stall out. My Nemesis HPs are a lot less picky.

The tide was high so I couldn't get my friend out at Dog Beach unfortunately, but we headed back over to Nahant and I let him fly my 7m on the beach. Still lots of power! He did well, only smashed it on the beach a few times as I cringed.
