Winthrop : May 16th

Planning on sleeping in with raid and a light northeast in the forecast, I woke up to text messages from Jean and Chris that Winthrop was happening. Got packed up and picked up and headed out.

Jean and a few others were riding on 12/13m kites when we arrived. Pumped a 12 and a 10m and by the time we hit the water it was a solid 10m wind. Tide was on the high side, and there wasn't much swell, but the pool was like glass and there were little rollers along the jetty wall.
